How to Join 7th Louth Coastal Scout Group

Joining your Local Scout Group is Easy, Here’s How

  1. Meet with the Group Leader, Deputy Group Leader or Section Leader and they will get you set up with being vetted and give you the relevant Safeguarding before you can begin.
  2. Fill out the Garda Vetting Form (NVB1) The Group will have copies of these. Fill out your details and include the details for which the Vetting is being completed for in this case the organisation is SCOUTING IRELAND. Have the form validated by the Group Leader or Designated Person and they will post the application to Head Office in Larch Hill.
  3. You will then receive an evetting invitation from Scouting Ireland where details are required by the applicant in order to process the application. Your profile on the Scouting Ireland Database will then be created and you can book onto the Being A Scouter Course.
