Subs (Fees) Update – Summer 2025 

It is the groups policy to keep costs as low as possible for our scouting families. Our subs rate has remained the same for many years. Scouting Ireland suddenly increased their registration fees in September 2024. As we had already detailed the subs cost for 24/25 to our families, we did not pass on the increase to you. 

From September 2025, our subs will rise to:

€260 for one child

€230 for second child from same family (Total Family subs €490)

€185 for third or subsequent child from same family (Total Family subs €675)

Registration of one hundred euro per child is payable BEFORE the start of each Scouting Year (September 1st) 

• The balance can be paid in installments if preferred 
• your child’s section leader will provide details of installments, but final payment must all be recieved by February 1st.
• For families with more than one child in the group, all installments should be given to your youngest child’s section leader.

Any families in financial difficulty should speak to the section leader or Bobby, our Group Leader, in total confidence to make alternative arrangements. 

As we have a very tight budget, we are unable to refund subs paid in any circumstances.
