Welcome to 7th Louth Coastal Scouts, where adventure and community come together! Proudly serving the Termonfeckin, Clogherhead, and surrounding areas for the past 20 years, we are committed to providing young people with opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and outdoor adventures.
Our Journey
Since our founding, 7th Louth Coastal Scouts has grown into a thriving group with over 100 members. We offer an engaging and dynamic Scouting experience for youth aged 6 through adulthood, divided across our five sections: Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, and Rovers.
Scouting for All Ages
Our Scouting programme is tailored to suit the unique needs of each age group, adhering to the One Programme Scouting principles. From the basics of Scouting for our youngest members to exciting overseas expeditions for our older scouts, we emphasize teamwork, leadership, and outdoor skills at every stage.
- Beavers (Ages 6-8): Introducing the basics of Scouting through games, outdoor activities, and teamwork.
- Cubs (Ages 9-11): Expanding on outdoor adventures, creativity, and community engagement.
- Scouts (Ages 12-15): Developing leadership, survival skills, and more advanced Scouting challenges.
- Ventures (Ages 15-17): Embracing independence, adventure, and personal development.
- Rovers (Ages 18-26): Fostering lifelong skills and participating in international opportunities.
Our Mission
At 7th Louth Coastal Scouts, we aim to empower our members with life skills that will serve them beyond the scouting experience. We nurture values such as respect, responsibility, and resilience, helping our members become confident, well-rounded individuals. Whether it’s camping, hiking, or taking part in community service, our Scouts embrace the outdoors and make lasting friendships along the way.
