It is impossible to run any section/ organisation without adult volunteers and thus provide the various activities that we do for our youth members within Scouting.

Training

All Scouters are expected to participate in the Woodbadge Training Scheme set out by Scouting Ireland which helps them understand Scouting and the Scouters role within the organisation and provide them with the necessary skills to fulfill their role as a Scouter to the youth members of the organisation.

You can find out more about the training program here

Safeguarding

The safety of youth and adult members of Scouting Ireland is paramount. Various policies and procedures are in place to ensure all members scout safely. Find out more by visiting the Safety at Scouting Ireland page on Scouts.ie
