There will be Mud. What a day we had for the Louth Scout County Orienteering Day held once again for a second consecutive year in the grounds of Piperstown Equestrian Centre, the weather was good and that didn’t dampen the spirits of many eager Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers who participated in this years event. Pictures from the event will be shared over the coming days on our social channels and among the various Scout groups who participated and their relevant groups.

This thrilling event saw the participation of 330 eager Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, and Rovers, as they navigated through challenging terrain, tested their orienteering skills, and forged unforgettable memories.

Against the backdrop of nature’s splendor, participants embarked on a journey of exploration and teamwork, honing their navigation abilities while fostering camaraderie among fellow scouts. From the youngest Beavers to the seasoned Rovers, each participant embraced the spirit of adventure, conquering obstacles, and pushing their limits.

As the sun illuminated the picturesque surroundings, cheers of triumph echoed through the air, marking the successful completion of each course. From navigating dense forests to crossing babbling streams, every twist and turn brought new excitement and discovery.

The Louth Scout County Orienteering Day was not merely a competition but a celebration of perseverance, determination, and the unbreakable bond shared by scouts. As participants crossed the finish line, they carried with them the pride of accomplishment and the memories of an extraordinary day spent in the heart of nature.
