In October our beaver colony visited the local fire station in the run up to Halloween to learn about the importance of fire safety and how to keep safe around fire works and other fire related substances. They asked the firemen very inquisitive questions about fire circles and what to do in an accident; they were even quizzed on what to do in an emergency and which number to dial if they ever got into one.

To round off the day the beavers got to have a go in a fire engine and were rewarded with Firemen sticker packs and some goodies.

All had a great day learning about fire safety.
