On Saturday July 1st our Beaver group camped in Piperstown for one night learning about the history of Canada Day and why it is celebrated, you can read about that here. The beavers were full of excitement and very enthusiastic to learn about Canada Day. During the camp we had a camp fire and some smores and we also play some games relating to Canada Day and some general scouting games too. Also on the camp we said Bravo and Farewell to some of our older beavers who will be moving up to Cubs in September when the new scouting year starts in September. The departing beavers were presented with their final set of beaver badges from our Beaver Section Leader Miriam before heading off to cubs.

Congratulations and well done to our older beavers on completing your year in Beavers with us, we hope you have a fantastic time in cubs in September. You will be missed by all. Enjoy your time with Cubs and we’ll cross paths again at some point in the future.

Enjoy the Summer Break and we’ll see new and existing Beavers in September.

Happy Christmas from 7th Louth Coastal Scout Group. All Sections across our group have now finished up for the festive period. See you in 2025. Enjoy the break and festivities πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸŽ„. Have a great New YearΒ
